How we work the score out
Four factors, weighted differently, and a comparison against every other number in the country
The score comes from four factors: คู่เลข, the digit pairs, at fifty per cent; รูปเบอร์, the shape of the number, at twenty; ผลรวม, the digit sum, at fifteen; and พลังดาว, planetary force, at fifteen. Those weights are our own decision. They come from no one text, because no text states a weight as a number.
คู่เลข carries the most because it is the factor the texts agree on most often, and because it is what the number shops actually use to explain a price. ผลรวม and พลังดาว carry less because they look at the number as a whole, which is coarser than reading it pair by pair.
Having added the raw score up, we do not show it. We turn it into a percentile — a comparison against every Thai mobile number that could exist. Scoring 70 means your number is better than about seventy per cent of numbers. It does not mean seventy marks out of a hundred.
We do it this way because a raw score means nothing with nothing to set it against. Most people have no idea what raw score counts as good, and everybody understands at once where they stand relative to other people.
A number's score never changes again after the first time it is worked out. Even if we adjust the formula later, results already recorded stay pinned to the version of the formula in use at the time, so a link you have already shared does not change its meaning behind you.
