The best ผลรวม for a phone number
No single total is the best by every text, but 9 get the top grade from every source that writes about them
Search for the best phone-number total and every site gives a different list, of a different length. Among the sum sources we use, counting only the totals each puts in its top grade, berded.in.th has 22, myhora.com 24, and chokdeetabien.com only 9. None of the lists is wrong. Each source sets its own bar.
Our table grades 9 totals strongly favourable: 2 9 36 45 46 50 55 59 65. For every one of them, each source the table cites gives it that source's top grade. If the question is which total is best, this is the answer the texts agree on most, not the answer of any one of them.
The totals the sources agree are best
The table gives the sources behind each total and how common it is among every Thai mobile number that could exist. The share is counted across every number starting 06, 08 and 09, not sampled.
Almost nobody has 2 or 9. A mobile number cannot total 2, because the smallest total one can reach is 6. Only 129 numbers out of 300 million total 9. So the list anyone can actually hold is 36 45 46 50 55 59 65.

Why a total one site calls very good is only favourable here
Because the sources differ. 14, 15 and 24 are examples: berded.in.th and myhora.com put them in their top grade, chokdeetabien.com one step below. So our table grades them favourable and says the texts are close but not identical. We do not show the highest answer on offer, because that would mean siding with the most generous source every time.

How rare is a good total?
It is not rare. Counted across every possible number, about 19% already have a total graded strongly favourable, and about 48% one graded favourable or better. The most common total of all is 44, found in about 4.8% of numbers, and the texts grade it favourable.
Put another way, a good total is ordinary. A number that totals 45 is no different, on that count, from the millions of others that total 45. What sets one number apart from another is the order of the digits inside it, and a total cannot see order.
The total is only part of a number
A total cannot see order. Numbers made of the same digits in a different arrangement always total the same, even when the คู่เลข inside them are nothing alike. In our score the total carries 15% and the pairs 50%, so a number with the best total can still carry an unfavourable pair.
The side the shops rarely write about
Most of the sources that write about totals sell numbers, and a shop tends to write about the totals that sell. In our table, 35 of the 47 totals graded negative come from taradsim alone, a sim shop that publishes the unfavourable readings too, and which we use only to fill gaps. Those negative totals together cover about 51% of numbers. That is why so many sum tables seem to contain only good totals: the other side was left out.
